Asymmetric exclusion processes with constrained dynamics | Mauro Sellitto
; | Date: |
16 Mar 2008 | Abstract: | Asymmetric exclusion processes with locally reversible kinetic constraints
are introduced to investigate the effect of non-conservative driving forces in
athermal systems. At high enough density they generally exhibit a nontrivial
rheological-like behaviour, negative differential resistance, two-step
relaxation, dynamical heterogeneities and, possibly, a jamming transition
driven by the externally applied field. | Source: | arXiv, 0803.2287 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
