1 Jan 2009 | Abstract: | In this paper, we calculate the $B o (jpsi, eta_c) K$ decays in the
perturbative QCD approach with the inclusion of the important next-to-leading
order (NLO) contributions. We find numerically that (a) the NLO pQCD
predictions for the branching ratios are: $Br(B^0 o jpsi K^0) =
9.9^{+4.0}_{-3.2} imes 10^{-4}$, $Br(B^+ o jpsi K^+) =
10.6^{+4.3}_{-3.3} imes 10^{-4}$, $Br(B^0 o eta_c K^0) =
7.0^{+2.3}_{-2.0} imes 10^{-4}$, $Br(B^+ o eta_c K^+) =
7.5^{+2.7}_{-2.2} imes 10^{-4}$, which agree very well with the data, and
therefore the so-called "$B o (jpsi, eta_c) K$" puzzle is resolved by the
inclusion of the NLO vertex corrections; (b)the NLO pQCD predictions for the
CP-violating asymmetries of $B o (jpsi,eta_c)K$ decays also agree perfectly
with the data. | Source: | arXiv, 0901.0165 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
