30 Dec 2010 | Abstract: | We report an interesting correlation phenomena between superconducting
transition temperature and resistance hump in K0.8Fe1.7Se2 singe crystal
discovered recently by means of high-pressure in-situ resistance measurements
in a diamond anvil cell. It is found that a full suppression of the resistance
hump achieved at the pressure above 9.2 GPa could destroy the superconductivity
simultaneously. Downloading from the highest pressure investigated, the
superconductivity and the resistance hump go back together, demonstrating the
parallel coexistence of superconductivity and the resistance hump in
K0.8Fe1.7Se2. X-ray diffraction performed at low temperature and ambient
pressure demonstrated that no structural phase transition occurs over the
entire temperature range. In addition, superconductivity reentrance was also
observed in the pressure range of 1.7-4.1 GPa. | Source: | arXiv, 1101.0092 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
