25 Apr 2012 | Abstract: | We use a Mach-Zehnder quantum Hall interferometer of a novel design to
investigate the interference effects at fractional filling factors. Our device
brings together the advantages of usual Mach-Zehnder and Fabry-Perot quantum
Hall interferometers. It realizes the simplest-for-analysis Mach-Zehnder
interference scheme with nothing but quantum Hall liquid within the
interference loop. The device demonstrates either $Phi_0=hc/e$ or
$Phi^*=e/e^*Phi_0$ periodicity depending on the way the magnetic flux $Phi$
is varied through the interference loop. | Source: | arXiv, 1204.5568 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
