Undamped Bloch Oscillations in the $U ightarrow infty$ one-dimensional Hubbard model
Yong Zheng ;
Date 9 Jul 2019
AbstractVia an exact solution of $U ightarrow infty$ one-dimensional Hubbard model in an electric field, we show that undamped Bloch oscillations extensively exist in this model. We also show that undamped Bloch oscillations can also exist for any magnitude of $U$, even in two or three dimension, at least for some special eigenstates of the Hubbard model. As an extension, we show exactly that, for a system of electrons with $delta$-function interactions, which is closely related to the Hubbard model, it seems that the correlation interaction plays no role on the response of the system to an electric field.
