Origin of Pseudogap and Stripe Phase in High-Tc Superconductors in Two Dimensional Picture | J. K. Srivastava

30 Mar 2005 | Subject: | Superconductivity; Strongly Correlated Electrons | cond-mat.supr-con cond-mat.str-el | Affiliation: | Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India | Abstract: | The details of the pseudogap origin and other gap related properties discussed earlier for cuprates, in the framework of the paired cluster (PC) model, using three dimensional (3D) electronic density of states (DOS), are shown to remain valid even when a two dimensional (2D) cuprate electronic DOS is used. Similarly the stripe phase description is also shown to be similar for the 3D and 2D cases. These results confirm the PC model’s capability in explaining the high-Tc superconductivity properties. | Source: | arXiv, cond-mat/0503711 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
