Multiparticle Interference, GHZ Entanglement, and Full Counting Statistics | H.-S. Sim

17 Aug 2005 | Subject: | Mesoscopic Systems and Quantum Hall Effect | cond-mat.mes-hall quant-ph | Abstract: | We investigate the quantum transport in a generalized $N$-particle Hanbury Brown--Twiss setup enclosing the magnetic flux, and demonstrate that the $N$th-order cumulant of current cross correlations exhibits Aharonov-Bohm oscillations, while there is no such oscillation in all the lower-order cumulants. The multiparticle interference results from the orbital GHZ entanglement of $N$ indistinguishable particles. For sufficiently strong Aharonov-Bohm oscillations the generalized Bell inequalities may be violated proving the $N$-particle quantum nonlocality. | Source: | arXiv, cond-mat/0508399 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
