Energy and Momentum of the Bianchi-I Type Universes in Tele-parallel Gravity
Mustafa Salti ; Ali Havare ;
Date 10 Feb 2005
Subject gr-qc
AbstractIn this paper, considering the tele-parallel gravity versions of the Einstein and Landau-Lifshitz energy-momentum prescriptions energy and momentum distribution of the universe based on the Bianchi-I type metrics which includes both the matter and gravitational fields is found to be zero and this results are the same as a previous works of Banerjee-Sen who investigated the same problem in general relativity by using Einstein energy-momentum complex and Xulu who used the general relativity versions of the Landau-lifshitz, Papapetrou and Weinberg energy-momentum complexes for the Bianchi-I type space-times. Another point is that our study agree with the previous works of Cooperstock-Israelit, Rosen, Johri et al. and the previous work of us. The result that total energy of the universe in Bianchi type I universe is supports the viewpoint of Albrow and Tryon and valid not only in the tele-parallel equivalent of general relativity, but also in any tele-parallel model.
