With a simple dynamical model, we have studied how the regulatory networks behave in diverse cellular conditions. Our experimental results reveal the existence of the universal core modules that exclusively determine dynamical behaviors for different conditions. Moreover, it is found that dynamical properties are more useful for classifying the cellular conditions than pure topological information. We also exhibit that genetic networks of cells in the normal condition is poised near the edge of the chaos while ones in abnormal conditions operate in a more stable regime. | Source: | arXiv, q-bio/0601012 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
