6 Jun 2006 | Abstract: | We show the pulse matching phenomenon can be obtained in general multi-level system with electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT), which allow us to create stationary pulses for many probe fields by using counter-propagating pump fields [M. Bajcsy et al., Nature (London) 426, 638 (2003)] in present system.
