Effects of broken links on the long-time behavior of quantum walks | A. Perez
; A. Romanelli
; | Date: |
1 Sep 2011 | Abstract: | We analyze the long time behavior of a quantum walk subject to a particular
type of decoherence, namely broken links appearing on one side of the lattice.
As we show, some important characteristics of the standard quantum walk still
remain in spite of the decoherence introduced by the model. We also show that,
contrarily to expectations, the Global Chirality Distribution is not Markovian,
and has an asymptotic value that depends on the initial conditions and the
probability of broken links appearance. | Source: | arXiv, 1109.0122 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
