Nonsignaling as a consistency condition for a local quasi hidden variable (LqHV) simulation of a general multipartite correlation scenario | Elena R. Loubenets
; | Date: |
1 Sep 2011 | Abstract: | We prove that, for the probabilistic description of a general multipartite
correlation scenario with a finite number of measurement settings and any
spectral type of outcomes at each site, the following statements are mutually
equivalent: (i) there exists an LqHV model - the new probabilistic model
introduced in arXiv:1104.2289; (ii) there exists a deterministic LqHV model;
(iii) there exists a normalized bounded real-valued measure returning all joint
probability distributions of this scenario as the corresponding marginals; (iv)
the general nonsignaling condition formulated in [J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 41
(2008), 445303] is fulfilled. In an LqHV model, locality inherent to an LHV
model is preserved but a probability space (the basic concept of Kolmogorov’s
probability model) is replaced by a measure space with a normalized bounded
real-valued measure that does not need to be positive. | Source: | arXiv, 1109.0225 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
