17 May 1996 | | Abstract: | X-ray and gamma-ray observations of Seyfert 1 galaxies are briefly reviewed. Both thermal and non-thermal model for X-ray and gamma-ray emission are discussed. Particular attention is given to various disc-corona models including both homogeneous and inhomogeneous (patchy) corona models.
