Some Remarks on Stability of Formation of Large Bipolaron | Masao Hirokawa
; | Date: |
5 Jun 2006 | Subject: | Other | Abstract: | We will introduce a parameter into the Hamiltonian of a large bipolaron. This parameter represents a quantity such as an area of phonon-exchange which causes attraction between the two electrons in the bipolaron. Namely, we suppose that the attraction grasps the two electrons rotating in a circle with a radius. Such a radius was introduced for the classical bipolaron by Peeters and Devreese, though their point of view is slight different from ours. The attraction so affects the two electrons that they are bound and thus the bipolaron is formed. However, the bipolaron is not formed unless the attraction can grasp the electrons tightly. We will list some remarks on stability of the bipolaron formation in terms of this parameter. | Source: | arXiv, cond-mat/0606095 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
