It is shown that how the dynamic evolution of an initially confined system is affected by the on-site interaction and the choice of the initial state. Our results are in qualitative agreement with the corresponding experiment recently carried out in Innsbruck. We also study the dynamics of a system in which all the particles are initially loaded into only one optical lattice site and find that with the increasing of the on-site interaction, the system displays a kind of self-trapping. | Source: | arXiv, cond-mat/0701502 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
