Solution of a Problem of Barendregt on Sensible lambda-Theories
Benedetto Intrigila ; Richard Statman ;
Date 14 Sep 2006
Subject Logic in Computer Science
AbstractH is the theory extending eta-conversion by identifying all closed unsolvables. Homega is the closure of this theory under the omega-rule (and eta-conversion). A long-standing conjecture of H. Barendregt states that the provable equations of Homega form a Pi_{1}^{1}-complete set. Here we prove that conjecture.
