7 Jun 1974 | Journal: | Science, 184 (4141), 1072-4 | Abstract: | Nuclear magnetic resonance studies of the relaxation times of the water in the crystalline lens show that, as in all interfacial systems, these parameters are markedly reduced from their values in pure water, that T(2) is less than T(1), and that both depend on water content.
