About the temperature of moving bodies
T. S. Biró ; P. Ván ;
Date 11 May 2009
AbstractRelativistic thermodynamics is revisited from the point of view of special relativistic hydrodynamics. A set of transformation formulas are derived in a homogeneous approximation of the corresponding energy-momentum and particle number balances. A new concept of relativistic internal energy emerges as a consequence. The different temperature transformation formulas of Planck and Einstein, Ott, Landsberg and Doppler appear as special cases.
