Abstract:	We provide some new insights for analyzing dynamics of optimization algorithms, which are popular in machine learning, based on differential equation approaches. Our analysis reveals a natural connection from optimization algorithm to physical systems, and is applicable to more general algorithms and optimization problems beyond general convexity and strong convexity.
