X(1835) as the Lowest Mass Pseudoscalar Glueball and Proton Spin Problem | Nikolai Kochelev

29 Aug 2005 | Subject: | hep-ph hep-ex nucl-ex nucl-th | Abstract: | We discuss the partial restoration of $U(1)_A$ symmetry within the instanton model for QCD vacuum, which takes place in high hadronic excitation through the appearance of parity doublet. We argue how X(1835) be interpreted as the lowest pseudoscalar glueball state, and derive the coupling constant of this particle to the proton. We show that the glueball coupling with proton is large and negative. And we give our conjecture that the large glueball contribution to the flavor singlet axial coupling may consequently be an origin of the so-called proton spin problem. | Source: | arXiv, hep-ph/0508288 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
