Off-shell structure of the string sigma model | Alan Kostelecky

23 Dec 1999 | Journal: | Phys.Rev.Lett. 84 (2000) 4541-4544 | Subject: | hep-th hep-ph | Abstract: | The off-shell structure of the string sigma model is investigated. In the open bosonic string, nonperturbative effects are shown to depend crucially on the regularization scheme. A scheme retaining the notion of string width reproduces the structure of Witten’s string field theory and the associated unconventional gauge transformations. | Source: | arXiv, hep-th/9912243 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
