Checking the transverse Ward-Takahashi relation at one loop order in 4-dimensions | M.R. Pennington
; R. Williams
; | Date: |
22 Nov 2005 | Abstract: | Some time ago Takahashi derived so called {it transverse} relations relating Green’s functions of different orders to complement the well-known Ward-Green-Takahashi identities of gauge theories by considering wedge rather than inner products. These transverse relations have the potential to determine the full fermion-boson vertex in terms of the renormalization functions of the fermion propagator. Following an indicative proof by He and Yu we explicitly check this relation to one-loop order in $d$-dimensions, with $d=4+epsilon$. We find that an additional piece must be included in the evaluation of the Wilson line component for this relation to hold in 4-dimensions. | Source: | arXiv, hep-ph/0511254 | Services: | Forum | Review | PDF | Favorites |
